Consumer Product Benzene Contamination

EPS led an investigation for a major Consumer Products company determining the origin and cause of benzene contamination in its supply chain and manufacturing of its product brands. Within 1 week from the start of the engagement, identified and within 2 weeks confirmed the source of the benzene contaminant in the supply chain and manufacturing process. Performed unique chemical analysis and testing determining the source of benzene contamination months prior to subsequent recalls in dozens of consumer products in an industry-wide recognition of the benzene contamination.
